Default Guildwars PvE takes no or very little skill lvl cap ect

Something Ive been looking at recently at posts of people saying Guildwars takes skill so they shouldn't raise the level cap. Can you seriously try and tell me that GuildWars is about making builds and doing the same thing over to get better. I'm all for Anet raising the level cap. I don't care if this means after while it doesn't . The point is stop trying to petion for Anet to keep the level cap at 20. PVE TAKES NO SKILL NOW STOP TRYING TO DEFEND IT SAYING " OOO I LIKED GUILDWARS CAUSE IT WAS ALL ABOUT SKILL". Almost everyone who says this is a pve player and says ironically "I HATE THOSE STUPID PVPERS ALWAYS WHINING. "

Before you say anything remember that every stupid farming spot in Guild Wars 1 has a cookie cutter build that everyone runs. After 7 Chars and more boring every time taking them through each campaign. Another generic whiners quote "OO GUILDWARS IS JUMPING ON THE MMO BANDWAGON." What are you taking about the thing that made Guild Wars unique was a game that you bought in stores once and would have free content updates and such. I can say the following is a fact; Almost everyone I know who quit this game after beating it once or twice with a character felt that there was nothing to do after and its true. For PvP players we already know that there will be balanced PvP the actual form of play that takes skill. One more thing for those who complain about " OMG I HAVE TO GRIND IN A MMO TO BE COMPETITIVE . Why do you have to lvl up in GuildWars on A pve character in Guild Wars to be competitive. That is why they made PvP characters.

In conclusion I hope Anet makes the game the way they have it planned and don't ruin the PvE again

If you want people to read that, please format it to include a paragraph or two. My eyes will thank you.

By the gods, do we need to continually regurgitate the same topic?

if you want GW PvE about e-peen numbers ... be my guest. but i wont be there, and lot of other people wont be there either. guess why? people finding e-peen numbers interesting already went to games that are made for em (WoW, Lineage ...), people finding e-peen numbers pointless loved GW for being GW and will move to other games that are based on that principle. i.e NOT GW2.

that said, i proprably should have posted on this flamebait ... it not like i will look at this thread again so save your rebutals.

Why does everyone need to have their own thread on such subjects? Makes it harder to find the good threads on the forums.

Aye. The info isn't even a week old, and it's already a dead horse.

Life - Dont critisize PVE due to cookie cutter builds when PVP has exactly the same, just you cry about it more so its gets nerfed.

PvE takes skill - adapt to the quest / mission particular monster and there tatcics.

PvP takes skill - adapt but in a different way.

Someone who only DOES one may feel inclined to "slam" the other if they feel out of water from what they know.
Ask question, put up with your a *noob* comments and learns from others in the area your weak in.

@ The OP: Your grammar and composition teachers should both be burnt at the proverbial stake. I find it frightening that schools have seen fit to stop teaching people how to form coherent thoughts with words. Yikes.

Yes, PvE is too easy IMHO. When I first started playing Guild Wars (22 months ago) the later missions/areas were more difficult, but apparently people complained and ANet decided to make it easier. I find that annoying. It's true that you are no longer required to think as much or learn how to be a better player to succeed in most of the PvE aspects of the game. It's a bit sad. Now, to say that some of the elite areas of PvE don't require ANY skill...well...sorry, but that's an ignorant statement. Perhaps you'd like to re-form your statement into something mature and rational so people might actually take you seriously, eh?

Cookie cutter builds have nothing to do with level caps...they are a creation of the community. Some people don't want to be challenged, I suppose. They just want to "beat the game." I don't see how changing the level cap is going to change any of that except to add the element of grinding for levels, which I loathe. Some of us have jobs/lives and don't have hours on end to grind up levels like some of you kiddies do. If they do introduce long level grinding to Guild Wars it's pretty likely that I'll no longer have time to play it.

I'm not criticizing cookie cutter builds buddy. I was trying to say in response to people stating that " O I like Guild Wars because it takes skill to play", that there point wasn't valid. Check the avatar, i'm no noob to this game. I myself have 7 PvE characters like I said in my OP. I am in no way trying to say PvE is crap because of cookie cutter builds. Once again I'm trying to state that people will not accept change to a better game cause they'd rather screw up GW2 when they can continue to play Guild Wars 1.

BTW ZWE I have to agree I have an ego not e-peen .E peen sounds stupid

We have a thread about level caps: http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...php?t=10133412

You can also put these thoughts in the PC Gamer thread. I don't believe this is to encourage discussion and seems like flamebait so I'm closing it.
